Dave, the owner of the Green Door Gallery, has come up with a great new product to help make framing your precious paintings and photos a little easier. Framers Fit Wax can be used to protect your frame from damage during the framing process. Framers Fit Wax is used to:

• Removal of telltale ATG tape from frames when dust cover is trimmed.

• Preventing the accidental removal of tender leaf, paint or finish from old frames when the dust cover is trimmed and removed.

• Reduce screw eye friction, reducing the possibility of twisting off the head of the eye.

Protecting your frame has never been this easy! Follow these simple steps when using Framers Fit Wax and get great results, every time.

1. Apply Framers Fit Wax with a rag to just the outer edge of the frame.

2. Buff the waxed area with a clean rag and apply the ATG tape and dust cover.

3. Trim, lift off the access paper, and easily rub off any remaining ATG tape with your finger.

When assembling wooden picture frames, I guarantee this will save you time, trouble and most of all money.

The Problem: Controlling both halves of the unassembled 4th corner so the frame can be turned into the vise without breaking any of the other glued corners.

The Solution: Apply the "Controller" to the 4th corner of your frame before loosening the vice from the 3rd corner (Figures 1 & 2). For gold leaf or tender finishes, apply the controller to the underside of the frame (Figure 3).

I use "Controllers" on all sizes of frames because it allows me to assemble the 3rd and 4th corners without any delay, saving time.
